Question '97 Camaro Window Problem

My driver side window slides forward and back as well as tilts inward when putting the window up. (power windows) It'* been doing this for a while now. Well today I decided to attempt to fix the problem.

The window channel at the rear of the window has a stud that mounts to the bottom rail on the glass. This stud has broken off. From what I've been told and read this rear channel assembly/stud is no longer available. Any ideas?

I'm debating going to a body shop and seeing if they can weld it back in place. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Go to a junkyard and get a good window channel.
