The 5.3L is meh. Stock vs stock yea I'd probably go for the 5.3L, but the 3800 can do so much more and whoop the 5.3L easily with a few mods. Also gets better mileage when you keep foot up off the gas. V8'* just naturally suck down fuel a bit faster.

Bro, look at the mods available for the 5.3L. It is an LSx series motor after all.

Paid for it this morning and was handed the title.Called my insurance company this morning and faxed it to me.On my lunch break, went to get a plate for it with no problems. Will be in tommorrow morning to have the solenoids replaced, delivered the car to my mechanic Gerald and scheduled to be in for tommorrow morning.I will be getting a 2004 to 2005 next year.My mechanic knows to be careful around my vehicles, they are my babies and cringe if I see a scratch or dent.My Mechanic ordered the solenoids including the side cover gaskets this afternoon and will come in tommorrow.

I got it back this afternoon, shifts better and transmission works better. The fluid and filter was changed too since the side cover had to come off.My mechanic said the fluid and filter was getting due for a change.Drives good and pretty happy with the car.I have been so busy, going through a divorce case pending for a client of mine.Color looks like black and is Blue.My friend Denny is coming over tommorrow night to install a couple Chevy bowtie stickers on the rear glass including the little boy urinating on the Ford emblem since I don't like Fords.
