3.8 l number 1 plug not firing

number 1 plug was not firing I replaced that ignition and coil and it is still not firing on that plug

I assume you have tried a new spark plug & wires.. yes?
Have you scanned for any engines codes?

jwfirebird has a reputation beyond repute

look for corrosion, alot of times that pin is corroded, you can sand it and put dielectric grease on it

Shouldn't matter. If #1 isn't firing, then #3 shouldn't be firing either. They both fire at the same time. It'* either a bad sparkplug wire or a REALLY bad sparkplug.
