Default 07 Tahoe Stock Radio

I have an 07 Tahoe with a stock Non Navigation unit in it. I really like one radio station local here, but every time I listen to it I get what sounds like (and I am not kidding.. Chirps...) like there is a bird in my radio going chirp chirp chirp chirp... It will make 4 or more chirps in a row and it does it very often. It only does it on that radio station. That radio station has no issue on any other radio. My car, bike, house, etc... Just in my Tahoe. Has anybody ever experienced this?

That'* an odd one. It'll be very hard to diagnose not being in the vehicle ourselves.

Ya, this was my last hope. Put out a post to see if anybody ever experienced it. The only thing I can do is replace the radio. But it just is very strange that it is only that radio and only that station. I don't get it. It'* done it since I bought the vehicle. I bought it used so I couldn't take it in on warrenty. But it has been getting worse and worse. To the point I just can't listen to the station anymore. People probably think I am nutz.. I should record it and post the sound...

The warranty is still valid, even on used vehicles. As long as the vehicle is under years/mileage limits that is.

Could you maybe take a video of it so we can try to hear it?

Weird, never heard of that one before. Start off by making sure your antenna is tight on it'* mast, they're known for loosening off. If it'* good you could take it to the dealer and check for updated calibrations for the radio, other than that there'* not much you can do other than have it replaced. I just checked for PI'* or TSB'* on the GM service manual and came up with nothing.

I wonder if its one of those RDS radios and something is wrong with it deciphering the signal that the radio station is putting out???

All new GM radios are RDS.
