Seville idles @ 2500 rpm after replacing starter
The pcv boots, one on each end of the pcv line were broken and I left it off. Will this cause the car to idle at high rpm'*?
Everything else was reinstalled properly...

The missing pcv hose creates a vacuum leak, and the vacuum leak causes high idle. Replace the hose and there is a good chance the idle issue will be resolved.
