Default 2005 Buick LeSabre auto unlock problem

Hello,

I've been trying to program my mom'* LeSabre door locks for about 2 weeks and it keeps dropping the program. I use the DIC to set Auto Unlock (all doors automatically unlocking when in Park) to OFF and it works for about 4-5 tries, then suddenly switches back to ON.

For her safety, I'd really like the doors to stay locked when she shifts into Park. Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this? I mean, who the heck thought it would be a good idea to unlock every door when a vehicle is parked????

Welcome to the forums Erika.
I know if you disconnect the battery, the door module is effected by the loss in power and the saved settings reset.
Check the battery through a load test. Ensure all battery cables are clean/free from corrosion & tight.

Great, thank you! I had to head out of town, but I know inspection is due soon, so I can have her ask the guys at the shop to do a load test. That sounds like a promising solution!
