I have an electrical engineering degree but I don't work for GM. I actually don't work as an engineer anywhere ; bloody economy and China trade agreement.

I don't work for GM, but I have a somewhat extensive automotive engineering background and some of that covers electrical.

Hi Kimberly and Nathan, thks for the reply guys. This thread i made is direct cry for help lol. I have a thread open in regards of the problem but, seam like not many checking in to try helping, so i wanted to narrow down people inclined to help. Wonder if you can help.

like i said in the other thread you should try to isolate the components. like find the relays for left or right turn remove them. and if the direction lever still turns off the car the fault is with the lever or wiring to it. if it doesnt shut the car off the fault is after the relays. the relays just seem like a easy place to start but mostly were the two are together is in the dash under the steering wheel
