Default ac problems

my ac in my 94 quit the other day so did my cruise control i think the ac is low on freon but i am not sure about the cruise,could they be related both run off the ecm but no check engine light comes on it'* a headscratcher,any ideas.

I would start by checking the fuses. Your owners manual should help to identify locations.
The A/C clutch wont engage if the high / low side pressures are not within spec.
Find a local A/C shop that will attach their gauges, & go from there.
Often there is a leak that has to be traced.
