Question Park Ave Seat Adjuster Panel

After having a passenger for 500 miles, this is what happened...Darn cheap plastics on this car!
I guess the weight of passenger compressed the foam, and it had pop a part a phobia?
Appears to be coming apart at the seam LOL...

Ok did something break or is there a secret to re-install this thing properly?

I think they just pop back in there. Unless the tabs are broken.

I tried pushing it in numerous times, but when it stops raining, I will have to get a better look Mike..
If the tabs are broken maybe drill a hole and some ole fishing line through the seat to tie it back up is in order LOL...

The plastic tabs have metal clips on them to secure it to the seats...... have used "stylish" screws to secure the escutcheon....

Ha-ha, Mike......whatever I have handy...then I go into the Parts Dept, and get some touch-up paint close to the color of the plate, and paint the heads......

Looks like I will be attempting one single drill hole & screw install.
There is a small amount of solid wood just above the white electrical connector area to hit.

Hope you hit the wood, and not the electrical connector!
