cleaning throttle body
buicklesabre2000
plan to clean the throttle still attached to the car
plan to use this product CRC/Throttle body and air intake cleaner (autozone) with a toothbrush. Is it a safe product ? - 1
wondering if it matters to take off the mass airflow sensor, IAC, TPS, when using that product cleaner ? - 2
only reason im doing this to make sure those sensor keep their integrity and get rid of any buildup

No, remove it from the car. All that cleaner and gunk will go right into your plenum.
CRC, yes, but you need to remove the MAF sensor because its not designed to be used on the MAF. Remove them all, CRC is not safe on electronic contacts such as PCB boards(which the TPS does have).

Yes, that would be a good idea.

You don't have to, your going to lose a little bit of coolant when you do, but maybe a cups worth.

Steel bolts don't agree with aluminum housings, so I always use anti-seize where I can. Especially those screws on the throttle body. They can be a bear to take out, but once you coat them with anti-seize they zip right back out.

You will need a new throttle body gasket.....
With throttle body off, easy to open the throttle plate and access the grime on the bore and edge of the throttle plate from the rear of throttle body....should take IAC off and clean the pintle and the passage in throttle plate at this time....
Do on cold engine....remove radiator cap to relieve any pressure, and then put cap back on....will lose a little coolant when removing the throttle body...

hey,
i meant when putting the throttle back on should they be put on dry or add some tightening lubrication ?
also should each bolt be torqued in a sequence to get to the final 89inchlb ?
like torque all of em at 30inchlb intervals then onward
