Default 97 park ave data link

The Haynes book is useless .need a shop manual. Don't know my way around the car yet lol don't even know all it is suppose to do yet. need owners manual too I guess, to busy fixin to find them. lol
can some one tell me where the data connector for the OBD scanner is located on 97 park ave? goin after codes to see how much more fun I can have.lol
Know of bad fuel gauge under the peg, tire air pressure and low water level keeps flashing though both are fine. so any help on those and the location will be appreciated. thanks

Found connection right under steering wheel, No codes but had battery unhooked while changing front and rear tranny mounts, end links one bolt was broken. Put in the slotted /drilled rotors &ceramic pads, they'll help stop this goin down some of our hills out here, found rear wheel stuck on the rotor explains why hammer marks on rim. replaced rim it was beaten on or off in the center and caliper was frozen, had to loosen up the slide pin rust grime had it stuck hard, think this may have been causing a rear tire dragging an creating a lot of heat effecting rotor an even the wheel being stuck on. bearings appear to be fine at this time.hate to see what they cost.replaced rear air shocks they were holding but looked worse then i do so while I was there.lol
we got 6 inches of snow today an 12 hrs more of snow coming so Im not goin fer a ride to see if any codes pop up just yet. scanner did give me only a yellow lite on emissions though, see what happens after I drive it .
Fuel gauge fix, tire pressure check, along with cooling level any help along those lines?

fuel gauge: alot of times this is a bad or corroded connector by the tank make sure your ground back there is good through the connector too.

tire pressure is gauged by the abs sensors, calculated. so sometimes they get out of wack and need to be reset. never been in a park ave but you probably bring up the display and hold the button

coolant level sensor is a common failure, the parts stores carry them, its on the pass side rad tank, has a couple wires coming out

Have a couple inches of snow to get rid of then I will check out the new snow tires and give it a test drive, pick up a level sensor am waiting on a new oil pan this one is dinged an gasket leaks, will do tranny filter an gasket at same time..
the abs sensor resetting ? will push an hold buttons on test drive an see what happens.lol
figured on having too drop fuel tank, deciding on what to replace so I have it all on hand, not sure of age of fuel pump or any other parts on the tank, will see what I can find later.need to fix some road kill, test drive the PA in the snow, watch nascar race, busy day
need to get a service manual so I know what Im lookin at seen where it can be down loaded but I havent seen a place I trust any recommendations?

Ok pushing the buttons got rid of the tire and the low coolent warnings.thanks dont have any manual to go by.waitin for the snow to clear off the big road then Im going to test drive it an see if it can find some where warm.follow the compass south and check if it is working. running around here in the snow an below zero.brr.it ran and felt good before all the fixing but it is very smooth and very responsive tried it in the cold now I should check in a warmer setting, give the sun a day or two to clear the big road off, and I can test it at speed and distance. Just remembered I have a tape stuck in the player found it doesnt work once I fish it out I'll see if I can't get a disc stuck too..lol Is this a special item thing as in nothing else will work but a certain radio ? or what about the security ? will I have to deal with it? I unplug battary when ever I work on the car will that keep the security at bay? lol what I don't know will get me in trouble. as usual. Well guess it'* time for the last race of the year,I can watch that while the sun burns the packed ice an snow off the big road.

thanks for the links on manuals, bought one, in a couple weeks wont need any of you.lol Ill b smart then. even found the one for the ultra. well did forget the owners manual. dang.lol After I feed myself Ill check and see if I have a blinking light on the radio.Gas door isnt opening have to check that out. also figure out the heater controls not sure how they are suppose to work let alone how to work em. seems I got to push buttons then the auto but that only works one cycle heats up then shuts down i get cold and turn fans up again before it starts again in auto if it does, lol I get to cold to wait and see.not sure about leaving it off auto seems to work but not enough seat time with the roads just clearing up i can take a half hour drive and see whats happening ,low cooling sensor came back on so will pick one up and change it out when I do tran and oil pans and the sensors that go in them too dont like goin back twice, 175000 miles means things is as good as me in my old age so replacing parts that can fail like they did to me at work lol Thanks for the help I aint done yet,
