There were a lot of A, C, H, G<--I think, and W bodies that have used the 3800'* or variants of the 3800 such as the 3300... I think in 89 you could have had, say a Cutlass Ciera or Cutlass Ciera Curiser with the 3300 or 3800 .... Man there were so mant choices back then... Every thing from a 2.5 Tech 4, to the 2.8 MPFI V6, some had a 3.0, 3.8 some were attached to a 3T40( THM125C ) or 4T60( THM440-T4 )
C & H bodies have had the 3800 from the get go, I believe that the A bodies used them through 89...As the new 3300 came out that year... And in 94 the V6 option became the 3100....
