Default A little A/C help please?

'93 Buick P.A.... A/C problem....evacuated system, left gauges on for about 1 hour...with no movement of the needle. Charged system with recommend amount of refrig. and it was working great.....an hour later the compressor was cycling on and off as if there was a leak. Put remainder of 1/2 can into system....worked great for about 20 minutes...then started cycling again. It'* acting like there'* a leak......vacuum pressure did not decrease when evacuated and pressure stays steady on guages after turning A/C off. ANY help ...thanks.

Sounds like you may need a new.. damn i can't think of the part now. Just popped out of my head. It'* a little screen that'* in the a/c line that sort of acts like a filter. I can't remember what it'* called all of a sudden but you may need a new one as they tend to get dirty.
