Im having a couple problems with my power windows and door locks.
My drivers side window will always roll down, but sometimes it doesnt want to roll up..and I have to hit down then up, sometimes 2x and sometimes 30 times to get my drivers window to raise. I took off my door trim one time when the window stuck down, and grabbed onto the arm that connects to the rail on the window and the window finally started moving. Im not sure if my switch is going bad(as it sounds and feels different then my passenger switch) or my motor is on the way out.. Any thoughts or something I can check short of just replacing both parts to eliminate all guess?
And my 2nd problem is my power locks will lock both doors, from either drivers or passenger side, but however will not unlock the doors from either control. I see the lock rocker switch just hits a little push button on top of a circuit board, so not sure how I could go about testing. Do those lock actuators work like the windows and just reverses the polarity for up or down? I could test with a battery if that were the case, but im afraid its either a broken wire somewhere or bad circuit boards?
Thanks
