Default Electric Door Locks Stopped Working (Click!)

I don't have anything fancy like the key fob that controls the electric door locks. I just have the switches on the two front doors that either lock or unlock all the doors. This morning when I went to lock the doors, I heard nothing but a "click" coming from the glove box area. The passenger side switch did the same. So I can't lock or unlock the doors via the two front door switches. I guess it'* a relay that'* controlling the door locks, but I wanted you'ze guys inputs on how to remedy my electric door lock prob. Thanks.

Ol' Timer, I'd assume that the lock signal travels through the driver'* switch before going to the passenger switch. It sounds like the relay above the passenger hushpanel is working, so I'd be tempted to check for a broken/loose wire in the driver'* door.

Keep in mind while considering my guidance, that I'm heavily doped on Vicodin and Beer.

Going by what happened to my 86 years ago and what is going on with my 91 Regals passenger side door. I would say its just stiff mechanism. Dried up and dirty white lithium. Maybe even some rust. Rust and grit was the culprit on the 86. I just need to remove the door panel on the Regal and clean and lube the mechanism up. I can tell the motor ( or whatever it actually is) (cellonoid?) is just getting too much resistance to throw the levers all the way.

My E brake was not clicking and I was affraid I needed to go to junk yard and get new pedal mechanism because the dawg was gone. I sprayed it with PB and up pops the dawg. It was dried out white grease. No rust or dirt, clean as a whistle. Just the grease had gotten too stiff.

The 93 bonny has a circuit breaker under the passenger side kick panel that feeds the solenoids thru the lock/unlock relays.

Damn Will, you're good! Although the lack of enough Vicodin did partially impair your answer. When I got home from work this evening I was futzing with the drivers side switch. I found the UP contact behind the switch plate was still making contact. Once I freed the sucker, all the locks went up and down perfectly. Well, at least when you use the passenger side switch. The Drivers side switch works OK but is still a little funky and should really be replaced. But for now I think I can live with it. I'm kind of surprised I didn't burn out something or drain the battery because of that contact making contact when it should't have.
Beer Tender, Vicodin for Everybody and beer chaser for Will!!!
