Get out of town if you don't have a 5.5 socket!

I don't have any sockets. I have an adjustable wrench, a flat blade screwdriver, a hammer, a roll of duct tape and a can of WD-40. I can fix anything with that.

Well I am flat rate so I don't pull seats either, but he is not working on a customers car. All it takes is remove 4 bolts and disconnect the seat harness and push it back into the rear seats. That would give you plenty of room and you don't have to remove the seat from the car. Nothing is worse then laying on your back up under a dash. Thats my $.02

I'm with you. 5 minutes to pull the seat versus breaking your back trying to get your head under the dash is a good trade off for me. Plus, it gives me a free opportunity to check the electrical connections under the carpet, and give my carpet a good vacuuming while the seat is out. None of which you would do unless working on your own car.

Guys, you move that seat fully back...drop the hush panel....use a rechargeable 1/4" ratchet with extension, universal, and 5.5 mm socket, easy peasy, lemon squeazy...

2kg4u, the clock is starting, pull that seat and try and get that adjustable wrench on that 5.5 mm hex head.....you betcha!
