Default Difference From LS and GS Timing Gears and Chain?

HI
I HAVE A 2001 3.8 REGAL LS
AND WANTED TO CHANGE THE TIMING CHAIN AND GEARS
I NOTICE THEY LIST DIFFERENT PART NUMBERS FOR THE GS SUPERCHARGED AND LS NOT SUPERCHARGED
IS THE SUPERCHARGED ONE MORE HEAVY DUTY?
OR CAM MOUNTING DIFFERENT?
WOULD THE SUPERCHARGED ONE BE BETTER?
I JUST WOULD LIKE TO GET IT IF IT WAS
THANKS FOR ALL YOU GUYS THAT ANSWER

I just looked on rockauto.com, and they are showing the same part # for both engines. 64 link, 8mm. Just double checked Autozone too.

We have a thread here somewhere that lists exactly everything different between the 2 engines(it deals with top swap)

Hmmm, that is different. The timing chains are the same, but the timing gears themselves are different part #'*.

I would just get the correct parts and not worry about using ones from a different type of engine.

Why are you changing them anyway?
