Broke ELC sensor
Ok I was going down a road late last nite with some road construction. No big deal 35mph tops when all of a sudden wham, bottom fell out of the road. Sensor and arm is broken. Finally realized this morning the compresser was still running and got the fuse pulled. Tonite I took off the sensor and now I don't like the price of a new one. What should I do? Live without it until I can get a used one at a junkyard or forget it?

sorry, no elc trick on the park avenue. but you can still manually pump up the rear struts. at the elc compressor, find the yellow wire, poke a probe through the insulation and ground it. the pump will turn on. when ride height is reached, pull elc fuse.

Check AC Delco or GMpartsdirect for the other cars that are the same part. List them up in the Wanted section...someone might have one laying around.
