ABS triggers when I take off from a stop
I have a 98 Park with only 40,000 on it, recently when I go to take off the ABS triggers. Took it to my local shop, no codes show when scanned. Everything looks fine on the lift, it would not do it for the shop. I know the owner so I asked if he would use it for a few days to see if it would act up, no such luck. he said he though he heard a short burst but was not sure, on the way home I got one short burst not the prolonged one like before. Where should I be looking????

It'* possible you have a hub sensor going bad/or possibly some rust build up inside the hub causing it to hiccup like that. It'* really difficult to determine which hub it is that'* causing this without expensive diagnostic equipment. But, it can be done using a decent DVM and lifting each wheel off the ground so you can at least spin it by hand. But, again, you could test each wheel and find nothing wrong, but it will do it again the second you leave the driveway.(Murphy'* Law)
It may get worse on you. It could start to activate while your trying to slow down to a stop. Only way to prevent this is to pull the main ABS fuse(which will cause the ABS light to come on) but, you won't have to worry about it stopping you too quick.

It actually sounds like the traction control is engaging, but the checks are still the same. The system kills wheelspin by actuating the ABS.

You need a scanner that can read ABS codes to see what codes it is throwing. Most transmission shops can do that for you, and a dealer certainly can do that (but it would cost more). I agree with RJolly that it sounds like the traction control system is kicking in which uses the ABS to stop wheel spin. If you deliberately spin the tires on a slippery surface (wet, or gravel) with the traction control turned on you should experience the same thing you are experiencing on a random basis.
