Anyone using PIAA 9006 Intense White Bulbs ?
Anyone using the 9006 "INTENSE WHITE" for the low beams?
http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-9000.html
I just ordered them and hope to install this weekend.
My current low'* are yellowish and pretty dim, even more so when daytime light are on. Hope this illuminates the road way better, as when it is dark and raining the stock bulb just don't cut though.
I have been using The Extreme White Plus in My jeep and like them.
Let'* see how they do in the PK Ave.

Any bulb is better than stock bulbs. One you have gone to HID'* the rest seem dim I agree.
The Intense white have a white tip and are 4100k. Better than what is in the PA right now.
There are some new super bright LED'* that I like but they would get stolen pretty quick.

I've had those in a car of mine before. I've also had Sylvania'* new 2XZ things. Both were WORSE than the stock bulbs. They weren't any brighter, they actually put out LESS lumens, but they sure were pretty to look at.
If you're gonna spend the money get the SSUs since they're still a clear bulb.

agreed. i also like the cool blue sylvanias. almost as bright as the ssu'* but they look white on the car. personally, id spend the $35 on amazon and spring on a hid kit like i did. or get a lifetime warrantied ddm kit for 55. there is an ungodly amount of room to mount the ballasts and its ridiculously easy to install them where the stock bulbs go. entire install takes about 15 minutes.
you can stop watching this video at about 4 mins. i just ramble on answering a question about whether or not you can use hids in the daytime running lights.

I have a 96 Park Ave and I have considered going HID eventually.
Can you pass an inspection with those in there?
Or every year when I have to get an inspection done would I have to pop the old headlights in?

Sorry I cannot edit my post...
Would these work?
For me I am pretty sure the 9006/6k'* are what I want/need.

William, I'd go with these over anything you can find on eBay.

Lifetime warranty, and for $40 plus about $15 for shipping you can't beat it with a stick.
9006 bulbs and 5000k is what you need. That'll give you the most white light. 6000k and up your light starts to turn blue and you reduce the lumens.
