3800 with 135xxx. Car started fine this morning, met friends for breakfast and when I came out the car wouldn't start. I have dash lights, headlights and radio, just nothing when I hit the key. No tick tick tick; nothing. A jump doesn't help. Tried repositioning in park and neutral several times with no success. I removed the strater and had it checked at parts store. Solenoid and stater spun well. Re-installed but with same result. I tried jumping the starter straight from battery. Solenoid kicks in, but won't turn engine. I spun the engine by hand and all is well there. Battery is fresh and well connected. Sound familiar to anyone? Any ideas? Thanks.

if they didnt test the starter with a load the test is not valid. its likely the starter but i would have someone hit the key while you test the little wire for 12v, if its there when the key is in start you know its the starter. use the engine for ground to test the ground as well
