Default Blower Fan Possessed

Ok time for another question. On my 94 PA sometimes the blower comes on and works fine. Other times I'll start the car and the blower wont work, but I'll hit a bump then it works like it should. I checked all the relays and fuses, all is good. Any suggestions. Motor, resistor, exorcism? Thanks

Being possessed, the exorcism is probably a good place to start.

Is it a climate control system, or the manual unit? It could be something like a loose plug, bad brushes in the blower motor, etc.

Usually a failing blower motor when stopped will spring back to life when tapped <handle of a screwdriver is perfect>. That gives you a place to start. When it acts up, start fiddling until it starts working. Of course being intermittent however, the issue will only present itself when you do not have time to fiddle.

I guess this is a manual unit. So here is a picture of it, sorry its blurry I just took it like a minute ago (its cold and dark and there are wolves after me ). Not to sound like an idiot, but where is the blower located on a 94 PA. In addition is it difficult to change a blower and or resistor. Thanks

That would be the manual unit. I forget if the blower motor protrudes in the cabin or out of the firewall, I will have to check the FSM when I get time.

Another place I've seen fail is the grounding wire to the blower. Make sure it'* a clean tight connection. It can cause intermittent operation.

Default A/C blower

On my 90 Reatta the blower speed controller is mounted in the housing that contains the evaporator,it gets dirty from the airflow. The wire block plugs in at the top on the engine side. The Reatta has climate control so it may be different than yours. My 71 Skylark has manual A/C and the resistor network is also mounted in the air handler for cooling, I have had some failed connections on the resistor board that lead to intermittent fan operation except on high speed. All resistors are bypassed on high.
GOOD LUCK
