Buick Park Avenue rated top 10 of all used cars by mechanics
Seems mechanics know what many on this forum know:
"Buick Park Avenue: In our study we're finding that the vehicle kept for the longest time is not Lexus or Mercedes-Benz. It'* Buick. The Park Avenue benefits from an outstanding powertrain — the GM 3.8-liter V-6 built for decades — in non-supercharged models, and a mature clientele that'* usually willing to invest in a car'* proper maintenance. "

It says a lot when they built the same car for 8 model years straight and didn't change much of anything on it.
same goes for the crown vic.

I love my Park Avenue, it has had a few problems here and there, but so far for a 96' it is holding up nicely, not sure if I will ever get rid of it, it is so easy to work on, and is very reliable, there is not much close quarter knuckle busting mechanic work thankfully, although she has drew blood from me a few times, lol

PA'* were a great car.....no car was roomier.....without that center console, seating 6 was easy......great ride......great powertrain......
The only car that had a better ride was the "G" body Riviera......those Rivs were so solid, years later, they were just as solid......would have been a big seller if they had a 4 door version....but GM tried to help Olds sales, by having the Aurora with the 4 door version.....
