Default 2007 Buick Lucerne transmission model

Hi Everyone

I bought a 2007 Lucerne and in the last week i felt a "KICK" when the transmission shifting .
in the past i have the same problem with 2001 Lesabre . (https://www.gmforum.com/buick-172/sh...esabre-307429/)

i solved it with install Trans-Go kit .

i want to ask , the transmission in the Lucerne and the Lesabre is the same ?

Thanks

If its a 3800 yep! Also if the miles are about 115k-140k you already know what needs to be done.. But before jumping to conclusions.. I check the mounts n make sure their good.

The "KICKS" come after a long drive . it'* not constantly .
it'* like Deja Vu with my old 2001 Lesabre , the same symptoms .
I think to install the TransGO Kit like I did with the Lesabre , what are you thinks ?
It'* the same process ? same steps to put it in the transmission ?

Long drive or stop and go driving will put heat in the transmission fluid and with a bad PCS you will get the same harsh shifts as you had with the Lesabre because of the increased line pressure. Installation of the TransGo kit would be the same on any 4t65-E, don't forget to scuff the accumulator walls with scotchbrite.
