Default 2004 Lesabre custom electrical problems

Hello, New member here. I found this site while looking for info on problems my wife'* car is having.
A couple of days ago, the cigarette lighter and power tap in the ashtray quit working. The under hood fuses are good. I have to check the rear seat fuse panel and the #65 fuse.
The big problem is, the wipers and washers stopped working last night. Fuse is good. Any ideas on where to start? Thanks for any help.

PS I tried the search feature, but it just left the screen when I started to type. Maybe I need more posts.

You have two separate problems, as far as I can see...

Turn car on, turn wipers on to low speed, and give the housing a love tap....if nothing happens, check the fuses in the I/P fuse block.....if ok, then get your multimeter out, disconnect harness to motor, and check power out of the multifunction switch(terminals H, G, D, B), as you go through the various positions.....if you have power at the harness terminals, and also a good ground at terminal C, you need a new motor.....

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't had time to get too much checking done. I did find out there is no power to the 30 app WSW fuse. Hopefully I'll have time today or tomorrow morning to pull the cowl to get at the wiper motor and connections.

I did find the problem with the lighter/power tap. I checked the wrong fuse at 10:00 last night. Thanks for the suggestions and schematics.

Remember you have to have the key in the run/on position to check for power......if no power at the 30a, but you have power at the 10a, you have a fuse block problem.....

I found the problem. The Acc relay, I believe it was #35 in the engine compartment fuse panel was bad. It supplies power to the 30 amp wiper fuse. Took one out of another car to try. Bingo. Thanks again for all your time.
