1995 Buick riviera starting problems
ok i own a 1995 Buick Riviera SC it ran great until a year ago it would die randomly then have a hard time starting. there is spark and and fuel preasure, i was looking at the VATS bypass its talks about an orange wire with 2 wires in side. I can't seem to find it. i Found a black one,not sure if this is it. I have taken it to a shop and after lots of time they told me they had no idea whats wrong...any help would be nice thank you.

First off, welcome to BonnevilleClub :P
Does the engine turn over? If so, VATS is not the issue, as it disables the starter and fuel pump.
I know that the PCMs on the '94 and '95 Bonnevilles are touchy, but not sure on the Rivs.
Your injectors might not actually be firing, causing the no start / no run problem. Someone here with more knowledge with that will chime in soon with a good way to check that out

A standard 194 bulb plugged into an injector connector will tell you if the injectors are pulsing when someone cranks the engine.
We need to clarify a couple things first:
1. What is your fuel pressure? What conditions was it tested under?
2. Does the car crank over, just not start, or do you just get a 'click' and the engine doesn't turn?

alright im sorry i got mixed up theres fuel and the injectors are working just no spark. have tried new ignition module and coil packs but nothing, and a shop tried a new Computer too but still nothing.. it cranks just wont start, when you try and start it its high pitched sounding, but the one time it did start for 10 seconds then died it was lower pitched sounding does that make sense?
