Default 2004 buick park avenue

Iresently took my buick to a dealer in Idaho while on a trip. The check engin light came on. they diagnosed the problem as a bad mass flow air sensor and suggested it be replaced. When I returne dhome I had it replaced. The light never went off and when you run a code check it comes up P0102. coukld there be another problem or could the new sensor be faulty? can it be checked? befuddled

Make sure it'* the correct MAF and it'* plugged in right. The MAF code should clear it'* self and the light will go off.

Thanks I will look at it how do you know if it is pluged in correctly? I am pretty sure I pluged it in as it came off but the dealer could have pluged it in wrong? thanks again

Just check to make sure the plug is in all the way. You can also unplug the MAF and drive that way. It will stumble but then smooth out. If the car drives better then there is a problem with the MAF
