2001 Buick Park Avenue Base Drivers Side Temp Cold
Hello all,
Hope someone can help me with this Park Avenue. I just changed the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets with the new updated plenum and gaskets to fix a coolant leak, and luckily there are no leaks and the car runs great!
Before I shut the car off the I turned the temperature control off as instructed and then disconnected the battery. I performed all the repairs/replacements. Then I reconnected the battery.
I started the car up and after a few minutes noticed that only cool or cold air was coming from the drivers side outlets, dash, vent and floor as directed. Passenger side was blowing hot as directed, and changing as the temperature control was manually changed. The drivers side stayed the same all this time, cool. It'* winter and I can't drive it like this for very long. The temp control worked fine before, until I disconnected the battery for the repairs.
I tried resetting the temp control by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting a couple of times and it didn't do a thing. Is there something I'm missing?
Do you think the drivers or left side temperature control actuator is at fault? If it is the actuator, do you think I could save it? I appreciate any and all suggestions.

I had that happen on my 98 Bonny, I never disconnect the battery when I did my UIM, if I do I have a small 12 volt battery and a cigar plug that I use....It sounds like its bad but not sure.. Bill Boost will chime in im sure he will know
