Wow good stuff, this is what I suspect to be the problem. Anybody have any tips as to seat removal? Thanks.

to remove the seat is easy, I just unbolted mine and tiled it into the back (was easier then trying to remove it threw the front door or work it out the rear door. Best to have two ppl as the seat is heavy

Thanks Hawk. Are there any worries about airbag going off? Do you have to pull any fuses?

Default The link did not work??

I have the same problem (04 LeSabre), re rear elec windows and door locks not working, but front window and door locks are working, and the advice that the problem is probably a serial data connection/line, and the originator of the post entered a follow-up, apparently thanking Hawk for a solution, so I concluded that Hawk'* suggestion worked. Hawk provided a link to an article, for the fix. I tried the link but it failed. The link was:

http://www.autotechonwheels.com/2010...itching-it-up/

Can anyone please tell me about the fix or where I can find the article? Thank you.

the network wire is tan and has a connection under the seat that many find got wet and corroded

but most say none of the windows work front or back. i think i would take the rear covers off and see, they have so many issues with the rear window regulators, could be both broke or a motor bound up and popped the fuse that powers the individual door module. my inlaws bought a 2000 recently and i had to replace both rear regulators, they have cables with plastic attachments that break and then the cable winds all around the motor

The link failed because it was a 3 year old post, made back in 2011.

jwfirebird, thank you. I do not think my regulators are bad. I should have clarified in my post - that both rear electric windows and door locks stopped working all of the sudden - at the exact same time. I checked the #18 fuse and it is also fine. I would like to contact the originator of this thread - dremmy, to ask about the fix. I cannot email him directly until I have 15 posts.

Steve, instead of replying to multi-year old threads, please just start your own threads with your question.

Default New thread tab?

Good idea Mike, thanks. I can't seem to find the "new thread" tab.
