Default engine pulley

I was wondering what size pulley icould put on a 95 buick rivera with a series 1 3800 engine i thought maybe a 2.2 but I was sure. I haven't really done any mods to it yet because I just got it

You would be best off going down to a 2.5" pulley. I believe you have a 2.8" stock. You will need a good flowing intake, at least a 180* t-stat, and some colder spark plugs to support the extra boost.

I thought that the stock one was a 2.5

I believe on the 94 and 95 years of the Series I engine, it had the 2.8. On the 92 and 93 engines, it had a 2.5.

Correct. Smallest for you would be 2.5".

actually i think it was 2.55 but its not much of a difference.

NGK TR-55 V-Power plugs gapped at .055". The Riviera intake is HORRIBLE. Don't upgrade your pulley until you fix that.

Ya I was looking at that when I got the car it looks very restrictive I tryed to remove the MAF screen in the throttle body but had to put it back in because of very poor idle I was think if I got a better flowing intake that it would help with idle when driving at low speeds because that is when i noticed the poor idle when driving at low speeds
