You can put a big block chevy in there with enough time and money. It'd probably be a lot easier to put a 3.8 in though.

yes. Someone has done it with the 3.8L Supercharged motor. Check out Motorswap.org for more information and help on those.

Someone from CGP put an L67 into a 97 Cutty, so yes it can be done. And actually its not to hard.

You will need to use your half shafts with HD tulips (or non-HD if you use an L36). And a lower radiator hose from a Buick Ultra (otherwise it will rub the a/c pump). If you want the a/c to work you will need the lines from another GM car, I totally forget which at the moment.

The wiring is the worst part. And make sure you have a tuner. Delete the security from the PCM, and you will have to bypass the security in the ignition also.

Good Luck

putting an engine into a car it was not really designed for is going to take a lot of time and money. Research as much as you can so you know what you are getting into.
There will be possibly many obstacles.
Make sure the transmission will be able to handle the extra torque of a 3.8.

well it definitely can be done. the project in my sig is a W body. same as the cut. supreme. the most time consuming challenge has been the wiring and computer. my local library has all data pro. so that helps. but id suggest getting an eng, ecu, and harness from the same car. save urself alot of headache. from there its just mounts. i just went to the junk yard and pulled mototr mounts off of 3800 regals. most bolted right up. i had to modify two though. oh and the cv axles were from a 93 regal in my fiasco.
