Should be very comparable, but you may want to determine the gear ratio and suspension codes.

...i'm a softie i guess. i love the ride of my lesabre...i am not into taking corners hard...and throwing my interior and trunk contents into chaos...but i do like to get from zero-to-100...um...zero-to the speed limit as soon as possible...i'm basically looking for a less agressive ride and styling than bonnie at this point because i put on a ton of miles and i'd like them to be comfy..and also, i am in a situation where i really really need to not attract unecessary attention from the boyz in blue until some tickets clear off my record.

Then you'll just Luvvvvv the Park Ave

i am not into taking corners hard...and throwing my interior and trunk contents into chaos..
That'* good because the Park Ave'* trunk is HUGE(approx 20 cu.ft.) and you don't want your stuff sloshing around back there. The leg room in the back seat is also very roomy!

i'm basically looking for a less agressive ride and styling than bonnie at this point because i put on a ton of miles and i'd like them to be comfy..and also, i am in a situation where i really really need to not attract unecessary attention from the boyz in blue until some tickets clear off my record
but i do like to get from zero-to-100...um...zero-to the speed limit as soon as possible
OK, you'll definitely be riding in style and comfort and will not draw too much attention from "The Men In Blue". However, I think once you break the sound barrier at about 75mph you might bring attention to yourself no matter how stealthy the Park Ave looks.

Let us know if you get your new "posh" ride.

true...true...so that brings us to the gear ratio question...stats show that the park ave pulls a 7.3 sec 0-60 time. bonnie is in the 6'* is this cause of gearing? if so, a few smart mods and i'm well on my way to stock ssei range right?

one other crazy question,

which years had the hood ornament versus the buick emblem plated right on the front op of the grill? i like the ornament...kinda helps you keep things between the navigational beacons...as in the lines on the road

The last hood ornaments appeared on the 1987 thru 1990 Park Ave *.

I can't vouch for the 97 Park Ave, but the current models have a Hood Ornament on the Base Park Ave and have a Grill Ornament on the Park Ave Ultra.
