plugging the coolant ports on 3800 Lesabre ? help
Ok my intake isnt leaking yet....but does anyone have a step by step with tap and pipe plug sizes....I want to do it without removing the intake......so all I would have to do is buy the plugs and a new gasket

1/4" NPT. Use a tap as well. Take pictures if you can please.
Too bad you weren't supercharged. The holes are already recessed and all you have to do is dab some RTV into the holes and tap 2 dimes in. Done.

dont think i would try it on the engine thats just asking for trouble, and unless yo have replaced the gaskets they are likely bad and the elbow needs done too

No they don't but it reduces the overall temp of the inlet.

yup now i remember reading that , lol.....I dont see why I cant drill and tap the LIM on the car...I would use a bottom tap and put vasoline on it to pull the chips up and hold them...would Lowes carry the hex drive pipe plugs ?
