01' LeSabre Oil Leak (pics)
I have a 2001 Lesabre with a 3800 series V6. It is leaking oil on the top of the motor and it will puddle into the intake valley. It appears to be leaking from where the plastic intake plentum mounts to the lower intake, but i didnt think any oil flows through there? Please look at the pics below and let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

I disagree. The placement of the valve covers and the way the LIM is mounted to the head, if the valve cover leaked, the oil would follow the channel between the LIM and head and eventually flow to either end of the head. Not down into the recessed areas of the LIM like shown in the pictures.
I'm suspecting the oil is seeping up the LIM bolts and puddling in the recessed areas of the LIM where the bolts are. Or, its coming from the between the UIM and the LIM.

If you do the LIM job, which I suggest doing if it has never been done whether leaking or not, make sure you go with the aluminum framed LIM Gaskets, and not the old nylon 6,6 gaskets shown in the UIM thread, the Fel-Pro MS98014T Kit is the one I recommend, but the ACDelco 89017816 Intake Manifold Gasket Kit is also acceptable, I just prefer the Fel-PRO kit because you get more in the kit, both gaskets appear to be of the same quality.
If you do the UIM/LIMjob and have any questions we are here to help.
Also, when you replace your coolant elbow, look into getting the new Dorman aluminum elbow, if not either get a nylon elbow from GM, or get the Dorman Help Section nylon one, just be sure to change the o-rings out for these, as the Dorman o-rings are known to cause leaks.

found it. So there is no Felpro kit that comes complete with the UIM and LIM gaskets? So id have to buy the kit you listed above and then felpro #MS95812 which is the UIM plentum gasket set?

I don't ever recall seeing a complete UIM/LIM gasket kit. Technically, they are separate tasks, which would deem the parts to be separate.
Yes, you would need to purchase...
LIM gaskets
UIM gasket
and the aluminum elbows.
