Default Why no cruise control indicator?

Am I missing something here? I have looked high and low and there is nothing to tell you the cruise control is activated. Isn't this sort of dangerous if you think about it?

None of the Bonnevilles have that. In fact, I can't think of a GM car I've ever owned that did.

Well, my 2000 Silverado had one. My wife'* new 2005 Grand Prix GXP has one. And my friend'* 2001 Envoy has one. These are all GM products.

the Bonneville is the only GM car I've owned that doesn't. The Aurora has it, My Riviera had it, and my 88 LeSabre had it too.

My 2001 Impala has one! I wondered the same thing why my 2005 SLE doesn't have one! It upset my wife wheres my cruise light? I said it don't have one dear! She said the Impala cost 10 grand less and it has one! I said yeah so what! The Bonneville is still hotter!

how the hell is it dangerous...

you let your foot off the gas... if its on, you keep going...otherwise u dont...

and u can feel the pedal pull away after you activate it
