Stock battery location anyone
Hey found out about these battery vent tubes on another forum. Have any of you guys broken any while removing the battery. Have you removed your battery yet?

No vent tubes in GXP. OEM battery is a sealed unit. Just lift front of back seat till the catches give then pull the back forward and it flip out. Do your self a favor and sand the paint of from under the terminal.

???WOW I guess when the rain settles I better get out and check mine again. I could have swore it was a sealed battery. That would explain the pan erosion TSB.

Ya know I feel pretty stupid right now and better start wearing my glasses when I work on car.I totally ignored that vent tube when I redid the groun strap. Guess I'll have a new OEM battery for sale as well as front struts. Gotta buy a gelcell after all.

GXP we should have talked about this earlier. I just ordered an OEM GXP battery for mY Aurora since i fear its weak. Same battery but the girl there couldnt find a battery listed for my 96 since she claimed it was too old.
