Door panels
Hi folks!
It seems I've found a problem: I've had an intermittent rattle coming from the rear passenger side area since new (about 2000 mi. now). Yesterday, the rattle got bad enough for me to finally try to find out WTH is going on.
The problem is the rear passenger side door panel; the #$!@ thing'* not hooked in at the
top! I made a couple of efforts to simply pound it back in (this isn't the first interior piece I've found loose on its mounts---the overhead console needed to be "assembled" too), but it wouldn't go back in. I couldn't even get a good view as to the mounts worked---are they clip-type mounts, or screw-in, or what?
The car'* coming up on it'* first 3000-mi service in just a few weeks. I could just drive around with a loose door panel until then, but I'd kinda like to see if I can fix it first. Anybody got any ideas?

Marauder, My rear driver side one broke and was replaced by the Dealer. It wasnt a matter of reattaching it , it had to be replaced. The overhead light and garage door opener console is clips, you might have to pry out a little with a screw driver to get it back in place.... Better off to leave that for the Dealer also. If they break a clip(tab) at least youll get a new one free.
It'* hard to believe all the cheap ways they put this 40,000 Dollar vehicle together. Also you should periodically check the plastic rivets that hold the inner fender skirts and front bottom wind deflector on. Mine keep popping out and hanging loose and I have lost 3 altogether(dealer replaced) Now I superglue them as they rattle loose Also if you open the trunk acsess hatch behind the rear arm rest do it with kid gloves on, mine blew apart into 3 pieces and a spring and i had a hell uva time figuring it out and reassembling. Welcome to the Dark side of Cheap GM engineering.
