Are these new GXPs selling well?
My local Pontiac dealer doesn't seem to have any. I do see two GTOs parked forever! The incentives now make a GXP priced about the same as a 3.5L V6 Chrysler 300.
I'm wondering if GM would have done well to take the $$$ put into this GXP development and instead put it into the development of a Pontiac version of the 2005 Cadillac STS RWD.
Actually keep this GXP chassis and styling, but keep the supercharged engine perhaps tweaked to 260hp with a Series III */C like the Grand Prix for MY 2004 and MY 2005. Then bring out a RWD/AWD Bonneville based on the 2005 Cadillac STS in 2006 with a RWD adapted 3900 series next gen. pushrod engine and detuned Northstar.
Just my thoughts...

i've only seen one on the road. Some lady in her late 30'*-early 40'*. It was the Pearl white -which was really cool, because I had just pulled out of the Pontiac dealer lot two blocks earlier and had looked at the white GXP they had sitting on their lot.

No Goats in Canada to my knowledge... :(
And the only GXP I've seen was in the show room at a local dealership.
They don't expect to sell to many GXPs around here... they said their SSEi sales (in these parts) were horrible. :(

I think Pontiac as a division is in its lowest point for some years. I remember they had an exciting lineup with turbo Sunbirds, high hp for the time Quad 4 H.O. Grand Ams with stick shift, Trans Am GTA 5.7 and LT1/LS1 f-bodies, McClaren turbo Grand Prixs, and more.
Now they have a very dated Montana (8th year in production), Aztek, poorly received GTO, fizzling Bonneville sales, Sunfire, etc.

GXP Sales
Bonneville sales are up 55% for June (2,777 in June '04 vs. 1,716 in June '03), and up 20% in the calendar year to date, which GM attributes partly due to GXP sales. GM'* sales numbers don't break out GXP sales versus the other Bonnes though.
