stumble on start up, finally hits good and then runs fine

Yeah the gauge spikes up to over 40 when you turn the key to ON, or well the fuel pump actually primes in the ACC position on this car. My ignition switch is slightly different than the Bonneville.

I guess I may just have to chock it up to a fluke, much like the gas mileage, and several other things this car does sometimes.

I firmly believe in the existence of gremlins.
