Looks like I'm outta the club.....
A rep from GM called me yesterday offering to buy the Bonne back. We picked up a Denalli last weekend in anticipation of this. It'* a shame as this is a beautiful car but it neeeded to happen. In one year the car had two pages of repairs on the GM printout. My dealer is happier than I am about this as I told them if I spent anymore time there they'd have to add me to their workers comp. I wish you nice people many happy and fun miles with your cars, mine just wasn't up to the task. Take care.

Hehe... sorry for the delay. The reason that was picked out of all that has been done to the car was the brakes. The rear rotors were turned at 10k miles for noise that could even be felt in the pedal. All four were turned at 17k miles for the same problem and the front pads were wore out and replaced at the same time. It only took 3k miles for the problem to come back. The "noise" sounded like a metal to metal grinding sound that started intermittently and grew to an all the time deal while breaking. This car had many demons. It never saw better than 17.1 mpg and averaged around low 16. I still think the mileage and brake problems were intertwined. No longer my problem. The drivers seat railing was replaced. Two HUD'* were replaced and the third one still vibrates. It was in twice for A/C repairs (once for complete inop) and the window fogging problem was coming back as well. They never did get the passenger seat problem to show up at the dealer but I could lay it all the way back and at times it wouldn't come back up unless you worked the switch back and forth continously. It seems there were more but I can't remember right now. This was all in a 12 month period.
For those of you that followed my fuel economy rants you will get a chuckle that my wife is now in a Denali. The sad part is even though it only sees 13 to 14 mpg that is only about 2 worse than the Bonne and it'* all frign wheel drive with 335 ponies driving them. I also wonder if I may be bad luck for GM as the Nav on the Denali is out and we only have 800 miles on it. :(
I say again that I do hope you have great times and fun with your cars as I still think thay are beautiful and fun. Even though mine stopped better than most of the cars I have had, my wife had no confidence in it hearing that noise so often.
Take care and I do plan on checking in once in awhile. Later
