2004 GXP Production Numbers
Does anyone know the actual numbers of 2004 GXP'* produced? I see they are producing the 2005'* already.

Not sure about production demand, but I had heard that production numbers would be at 5,000 for 2005.

This article is old (November of 2003), but it echos what I had heard about initial production numbers.

Pontiac will produce only about 2,500 GXPs this year and 5,000 annually after that.
"It'* better to build and sell 5,000 than to build 20,000 and sell 5,000 then have to put money (incentives) on 15,000 in order to sell them," Reuss said.

The percentage break out is as follows:
Black 25.5% - 546 units
White-gold Tricoat 23.1% - 495 units
Graystone Metallic 20.4% - 437 units
Liquid Silver Metallic 14% - 300 units
Crimson Tintcoat 11.9% - 255 units
Dark Blue Metallic 5% - 110 units
