Default Open Apology to SSEI owners

I've been busy in and out of the big city, and did'nt notice the Topic<GXP vs SSEI was locked. Or had I read the final 3 posts. Been busy with nitrous kit hole drilling and running around.

I apologive for aggressive comments about SSEI'* and quess I dont consider that even though this is a N* forum, IT is for the enjoyment and benefit of all Club members. I'm certainly no angel BUT I get the same thing back from SSEI owners.

The Administration staff have a tremendous responsibility going over all the posts and it looks like the forum is booming.

The SSEI and the N* are closely matched in terms of speed and power but very different power plants. And I get frustrated now knowing not alot of mods to go with,
our PCM is locked and can't be reflashed, nothing in way of aftermarket addons, and GM'* lips are locked tighter than a ...and then I keep getting suggestions that work for supercharged V-6'* that wont work or N/A for N*'* LD8 (pems and rockers JIM hehehe) but dont feel bad, I've been told that at least 10 times.

I hate to be wrong, and was, so I apologize for sparking yet another N* vs SSEI mud fight and hope it doesn't influence my getting info I really want to learn. I am dead serious about tricking out this Bonnie orphan.( JimW is it me or are your sprouting grey hair) Sorry

You sir, are a gentleman. Everyone appreciates an attitude like yours, including me, and I don't even have an SSEi or the version of the engine that was being compared.

I appriciate your comments Sir, and my ribbing and little taunts at ya guys that have to moderate this zoo are just offhand comments that should have never left my mouth. I really do enjoy this forum, and would like to get along with everyone not just one section of the forum. I'm a old dog but still learn new tricks

Actually Pgxp I Didn't get hands slapped(as of yet)(nitrous kit CAME today and I've been busy opening and sorting All the components) but went into the post and found the last post and locked button, made me feel bad looking back at the pages and remembering one other post full of the same stuff. No wonder I cant get positive feedback in performance forum....These guys been here enough to rack up thosands of posts and it'* not gonna help offending them regardless of little puns an quips we get( we are the new guys) So I figured to post apology and hope it falls off the page and the little tit 4 tats forgotten

ROFL At and with JimW, I was already sprouting grey hair sprouting at 26...2 jobs 4 kids @ 26.......and Mom always said I shoulda went to college and left the cars and women alone I think she put beer in there to thank you for the nice reply and hope you understand I will also give the moderators the respect they deserve, their only pay is liking to see a good forum thats informative and social. I am a large , loud , ribbin kind of guy and I see that doesnt play well here. It'* very hard for someone to judge your inflections and mannerisms with just the words to read....So how about the TB"*....Any word?? The nitrous FINALLY got here and I'm anxious to know if I can make the mix a little richer.

The GXP owners on this Forum need to realize that there isn't anything personal going on here. We're basing our opinions on our experiences.

From my own personal experience:
Former Northstar owner.
Driven a few GXP'*. One twice.
Own 2 L67'*, driven plenty of others.

And we've seen some numbers at dragstrips for the GXP that don't seem to match 'published' numbers. We've found many published numbers to be in great error. There'* even one place that shows the 95SE outperforming the 97SSEi. Right. Different track, different day, different driver.

The whole point is that we don't have anything personal against you two PEOPLE, we just have a different opinion on the pros and cons of the Northstar based on our experiences.

Chin up. We all like our cars for our own reasons.
