New tires for the GXP
#22
Just got some new Rubber yesterday...
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS 2 (4) $550 installed less $160 mail in rebate, final cost $390
Don't think I can do much better. I run snows in the winter so this ought to work out well.
I emailed Belle Tire on a Price match from Tirerack.

The original RSA'* lasted to 60.5K. Last fall replaced with the Pirelli P-Zero Nero AS @ Discount Tire for $111. per. In my opinion, the Pirelli tire has outperformed the Goodyears on dry, wet, & snow.

After alot of research I opted for the The Pirelli Zero Neros, They had great ratings and a great price. I bought them today at Discount tire, They matched Tire Rack'* price of $120.00 ea. I could not find the Goodyear F1'* for under $200.00 ea. I narrowed it down to the Pirreli'* and Michelin Pilot'* and the Pirreli'* were $80.00 each cheaper. Time will tell how they hold up... Thanks for all the imput !!

They weren't the original ties BTW. All GXP'* came with the GoodYear RSa'*. Bar none.
The date of '05 on your Goodrich'* is coincidental. You would be surprised at how long it can take for a tire to get from the mold to your tire.

You are right, I discovered that later on in the day while still shopping for new tires. So back to the drawing board, still deciding on what to go with. I might go with the BFG'* anyway. As much as I'd like to go with Goodyears I've had them before on a brand new Camaro and had bad cupping problems and from reading other posts here everyone else is saying the same thing.
