Another Exhaust Question!!
Hey guys, I am fairly new here, only have a few posts under my belt. I have been a huge Flowmaster fan my whole adult life. I had the 80 series on a '94 Z28 and I currently have the Super 40'* on my '72 Cutlass * and both cars sounded unbelievable. Has anyone out there actually tried Flowmasters on their GXP. I think just from experience that they would be incredible on the GXP but I am worried about the decible factor. I love the stock note on the GXP but when I do need to replace the mufflers I would like to use maybe the Flowmaster 50 series I think any of the 40'* will be a little to much. Normally, I say the louder the better but my GXP also doulbles as my company car!!!! Any Flowmaster equipped GXP'* out there???

A friend of mine has an '05 GXP with Flowmaster 40s. I think it sounds absolutely fantastic, especially at WOT. Not unbearable inside the car either. Very comfortable.

It will be even more bearable if you leave the stock resonator on the car, it will also keep the exhaust noise at idle at a civilized audible level.
