Talk to http://www.chrfab.com I know they make headers for the Northstar, question is will they fit and will they sell them to you?

at least ive got the option of a chip only made for 95'* (obd I thing ) according tot he guy that made it, it was designed using a 95 aurora so its not a generic chip, and he said the torque management is so aggressive the car wont release all of its power right away, he said with his chip on his car he could spin off the line a little. and he'* got the 3.48'*, wayyyy up in canada were the elevation is like 5,000

Why am I the only one that can spin tires rather aggresively?. (for an Aurora anyway)

At any rate, a chip is something I dont really need...if headers are possible then fine, if not then I will P and P the stockers.

ive got heavy rims with Z rated AA traction tires that grip rather nicely, and of course there 235 wide. i can chirp em a little, but i cant lay smoke

OK..no smoke here...only a few smear marks on asphalt. And that was with my stockers...lol

I read somewhere that headers would cause torque loss....true?

your hp gains would probably offset whatever you might lose. Especially on those dohc engines that are made to rev higher.

I wasn't trying to spin yours, but i never got them to from a stop either, and i went WOT a couple times from a stop in it too. I guess those other 'roras are kinda blech.... lol.

I couldn't get my 96 to lay a nice patch either :? even with CAI/ 80mm TB and Corsa exhaust. But highway runs sure where fun!
