Martin, I know you and I have been touch and go with the contact over the last little bit, but, I have a favour
Can you get a line on a driver side front headlamp assembly, it seems my turn signal joint where the bulb housing seal meet the back of the assembly is beyond repair. Can you see if you can get one, maybe one where the seals are continious around, the dead give away to a bad assy is fogging or condensation in the lens housing. All my bulb housings are good, but the headlamp itself...fuggedabboutit :?
Let me know? Please and Thanx

Oh geez ya, I am tired of having a saggy azz Aurora. I mean its not bad when its empty, but if I have ppl in the car...sag alert!
Considering GM Canada wants $498+$24 for the control arm+plus installation plus taxes, it came out to over $600.
I figure if I can get the saggies fixed for $250 CDN, I did well....

Installation is a snap. You should do it yourself. Including adjustments, it should take less than an hour with minimal tools.
I've forgotten.....how was it determined that this was the faulty component?
BTW, you'll get less weight transfer on launches when this is fixed. You'll feel it off the line.

When I had my Magnaflows installed the muffler shop realized that the shocks were covered in crud from torn airbags. So I had the shocks replaced, but they werent filling up with air. On closer inspection the pin connector from the main power line to the junction box that fed the ELC and the compressor was disconnected and corroded. They cleaned the head and reconnected it.
I drove home and for some reason the ELC kicked in. BRRRRZZZZTTTTT I go back out a few minutes later and find my car all jacked up rally styles. I go WTF!! and take it to the dealer. They disconnected the main line and decompressed the the shocks. It was then when they realized that the sensor was not reading the sensor arm and the rear suspension arm position. It was jacking the car up, and the sensor was not telling the compressor to stop.
That is why the main power line was disconnected in the first place. The previous owner (who coincidently works at that dealer) didnt want to spend the money on the part to get it fixed. (It was his wifes car)
Now, I have been driving around with new shocks and putting stress on the rubber air bags cuz its never filled with air.
Until soon.
