Sorry for the short response but I was on my way to work. When my rotors were turned I was heated but the dealer said they weren't supposed to replace them. By 10k miles my rear rotors had been turned and the fronts were making noise. The fronts also had a groove worn into them the width of the pad and about the depth of a dime. AT 10K MILES!!! At 17k miles while in for one of my many other problems with the car they looked at the brakes again and noticed the fronts were about to go metal to metal. They turned the fronts and replaced the pads. It was about this time the dealer had had enough and advised me how to get it repurchased.

As for what your going thru, when they are done with the car it will feel like new and the noises will be gone but you can bet a good sum of money that it will come back as mine did. It will start out quiet and get louder. Good luck.
