Been busy around the house with repairs today. Chalk up another bad Delphi coil, The Secondary Air Injection fault code could have happened for a variety of reasons and not even recent. They may have used the term reflash, but it'* really just a matter of clearing it. It is a code that doesn't clear itself. The oil lines have been a problem before here, I look for some psts when i have some time. You could do that as well. Just go to the N* index page and chose the "Search this Forum" option. Enter oil cooling lines. Seems several have had the problem, and one or two have done it themselves. As I remember it'* tricky and one fitting goes on ackward. I haven't any experience with them myself. I got the Northstar factory freak; used hard, put away wet, and zero problems except a IM shaft that need replaced again. Push comes to shove, I would buy the lines and have a regular garage you know out them on. I can't believe the price they gave you.
IS this an GMPP factory extended, or a Dealer purchased 2nd party plan?

thats weird, i got the numbers from GM in edmonton, i'll check here tomorrow and see if they are the same, no recalls on them for sure correct?
xtremerevolution mentioned something about a new part number coming up for a better set, could this be it?
EDIT: holy crap, after seeing ReallyAGXP thread. i dont think i wanna do it, or even let anyone look at my engine bay
the price i was quoted here was $1200.00, and i called Edmonton and i was quoted just right over $620.00.. isnt that pathetic?

No recalls I could find. Seems it'* to do with cold weather and aluminum compression rings. Sure fits your situation. Not sure about the part #'* Rock Auto lists the same as Dalders, but that post is pretty old. If i can help geting you parts up there let me know. Seems like most of it is labor though. Really sucks they would have inferior parts in such a place to replace.

that parts werent so much i think, IIRC they were somewhere around 150 bucks, only 1000% more than what they are online
but labour is 195 bucks an hour, thats whats killing, but thanks on the offer John i think i'll take it when the time is right, i might pass on the repair for few weeks, order them from you and then go to edmonton and install them there.. only thing im holding here is AMP (the dealership in fort mc) have a "never pay for the repair twice" policy. if this applies on the oil cooler lines im gonna go ahead and do it intown, i think it'll pay off eventually

I' m having a problem with an oil line leak as well (as well as an ignition probelm, but thats less prevalent than this). I'm interested in knowing if your bonnie shares the same oil line as my 9c1. Was driving today and the hose leaked out all of my oil before I got to my classes. Had to limp it into the parking lot and my dad and his mechanic pal came and looked at it. It seems a rubber hose got tired and let go of all my oil. I'll take pics tomorrow and compare notes, if you want.
