When I had my GP I had really bad vibration in my front end which was cause by an improper wheel balance and a bad inner OR outer tie rode can’t remember.
I was a little down financially and took me a while to get it balanced and fix my tie rods.
Not even a month later vibration came back and ABS/Traction light was on. Bang! Here goes a wheel hub.
Was it the reason? Can’t prove it, but it would make sense to me if the wheel is vibrating/shaking due to something else it could cause the wheel hub or bearing to fail sooner.

Tires were rotated and balanced twice since the wheel hubs were last replaced, and the tie rods were replaced too, per this thread earlier.

What bothers me is that I have a 1995 Buick Regal with 218k miles on the body, and I had to replace only one wheel hub (passenger front) at 192k miles and the rest are still fine. The car is lowered and sees its fair share of hard cornering and abuse. I've had it since 61k miles so I know for a fact nobody else has replaced them. Now if I can go 218k miles+ on 3 wheel hubs on my Regal, why, on a car that retailed for $38k, can I not go more than 40k miles on one wheel hub?

again i wouldnt blame the car, id blame whoever is servicing the car
there are many of us here with GXPs and our hubs are lasting alot more than yours, there has to be a reason that your technician is not seeing
the key to a proper fix is not replacing the broken part, but to find what caused it to fail.
I know here in town GM warranty their work, if yours lasted only 2k miles, id take it back
i try my very best to stick with ACdelco on many stuff. Hubs are one of them due to the ABS module being inside of it and i hate going aftermarket on stuff like this

I don't understand it either. I have 48K on mine, been to speeds we don't talk about many times, boiled nearly 3 sets of front tires off it, and beat the crap out of a set of front airstruts riding so low. I had the alignment done this spring when I put the OEM Front suspension back on and she drives like new. So i would consider the GM hubs to be of good quality. But if you drove it with a bad tie rod for an extended time, it'* a good way to lose a hub bearing. Not so much the shaking as lateral force because one tire is constantly pushed sideways when going straight.

Just doesn't make sense that you are having all these hub related issues front and back and it doesn't seem to happen here with any regularity.

Got an update. You see, I never drove the car after they replaced the wheel hubs. I'm not even sure why they did it. They claimed they were making noise. I never heard any abnormal noise and trust me I'd be one to pay attention to it. Regardless, the other week when I had the shop take a look at it, they replaced the front and rear driver'* side wheel hubs. I took the car to work this morning, and every bit of that vibration is still there. It seriously feels as though they did absolutely nothing. Not sure what kind of road testing they did to try to diagnose the problem, but its going back to the repair shop tomorrow.

I think thewy are installing these hubs wroing and not caring to torque them right. Jsut neew ideas I woudl check to see if the rotors are warped. Have the CV joints been checked?

I'm really not sure what they checked. Also, the rotors aren't warped. Trust me, I'd know.

Not sure if you got what I said last. I picked up the car from the shop on Friday of the week before last week, then drove my other car to California, and came back and drove the Bonneville for the first time since I picked it up today. The problem wasn't fixed from the start.

The tie rods are brand new Moog parts, so I know those can't be bad, and the wheels were balanced right before I took the car the shop, so I'll definitely have them check the CV joints.
