Integrated phone option

The "integrated phone" is option I have on my 2004 GXP. Can anyone explain what this is and how it is supposed to work?

Do you have Onstar? If so..(I think) you can pair your phone with the OnStar using bluetooth...OnStar has added some features to certain vehicles

You have to have a GM Dealer turn on the OnStar Package ($18.95/month). Then thru OnStar pay for minutes ($39/100).
OnStar has an agreement with Verizon where you can tie your Verizon account to the OnStar phone. I don't know the price for that.
Either way you still have to continue the OnStar service.
